See, child I know your questions
no matter what happens here's my suggestion
so let me speak now into your life
don't ever pick up that knife
it's what you do not what you intend
feelings will change and situations will end
don't forget upon which this depends
it's better not to trespass than to make amends
the knife opens doors that you can't close again
you do not want what's there on your life this depends
madness and scars wait for you inside
no one knows this better than I
so let those doors stay shut
never let them come open
it even matters to who and to what
you put the least of your vanishing hopes in
